The education is research oriented. The main research activities of the department are on molecular genetics, molecular biology, molecular cell biology, basic and applied immunology, structure-function relationship of proteins and new biotechnologies.

At least 6.5 IELTS score (5.5 from each section) is required. Tuition fees are payable in two installments, before the registration dates of the fall and spring semesters. All fees are subject to adjustment each year according to changes in the cost of living. A minimum quantitative GRE score of 153 is required.
