The language of education in the Nutrition and Dietetics Program is Turkish; the duration of education is 4 years. Students are admitted to the undergraduate program according to their scores on the university entrance exams. Following graduation, students who graduate from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics will be able to work as researchers, educators, or provide treatment and rehabilitation in inpatient treatment institutions, children’s and geriatric homes, in mother-child health, public health or special diet outpatient clinics. Graduates will also be able to work as academics. In addition, graduates can also work as managers, researchers and/or trainers in other public or private institutions related to food and nutrition. Graduates from this program can be appointed as dietitians to the aforementioned public institutions if they get the required score from the KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Examination).
