Solent’s foundation year in media offers students a stimulating introduction to develop technical, creative and academic skills across a range of media platforms. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, you can progress to the three-year BA (Hons) Television Production degree. In a fast-changing world, television production prevails across many platforms from live television to streaming services. With an emphasis on ‘learning by doing’ you will produce, shoot and edit original programmes, working on everything from dramas and documentaries, to sports and music programmes, entertainment and reality TV.
