This degree combines professional placements in community healthcare settings with state-of-the-art simulation, which is embedded throughout course and allows students to experience real life scenarios within the safety of the University setting. Graduates will be eligible to register as an adult nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery council. Half your study time will be spent gaining real-world experience in NHS placements at hospital and community-based settings across two counties. Here you’ll be able to develop your evidence-based clinical skills, critical thinking and leadership skills within a varied learning environment. From day one, you’ll start to develop the essential care skills and will integrate theory with practice by completing a variety of clinical placements. Throughout the course, you will gain a plethora of skills and knowledge that you will be able to apply to future roles after graduation when you register as a fully qualified adult nurse. You will spend 50% of your time in clinical practices across a variety of hospital and community settings.
Bachelor's degree courses require a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.0, with 5.5 in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
