The Environmental Design Bachelor’s program equips students with the skills and knowledge that allow them to design practical and sophisticated spaces and objects, both when working individually and as a creative associate. Teaching methods put great emphasis on personal contact and consultation, and practical workshops are an important pillar of the program. First year: Introduction to forms, spaces and materials through practical foundation courses, with plenty of experimentation and research opportunities that help you gain the skills needed to complete professional tasks. Second year: Practical courses with a special focus on interior space, furniture and architecture design, complemented by courses about related fields in each semester to equip students with comprehensive knowledge. Third year: One main complex design course along with co-related practical subjects that extend the design progress with technical and theoretical knowledge of art, design, and technical and up-to-date computing-specific subjects.
