The main purpose of the Nutrition and Dietetics Undergraduate Program is to train dieticians who investigate, evaluate, and find solutions to health problems caused by food and nutrition; ensure the use of existing food resources in accordance with the rules of economy and health; inform the individual and the society on these issues and raise awareness; plan, give training on, implement and follow a nutrition program according to the combinations of natural and therapeutic food suitable for medical and surgical treatments in diseases and other special conditions. As a Nutrition and Dietetics Undergraduate Program, mission is to train qualified health staff who are equipped with basic theoretical knowledge and practice skills in the field of health, who can use appropriate contemporary technologies effectively, comply with teamwork, be sensitive to individual and social ethical principles, and human and patient rights, act with a sense of responsibility, develop the ability to analyse and interpret the acquired knowledge, be open to lifelong learning and comply with national and international developments in the light of scientific knowledge.
The internal language assessment test might be offered. Exemption from English Language Proficiency and Placement Exam for students who hold international language certificates is determined by written exam and / or oral interview conducted by the School of Foreign Languages.
