In this Product Design program, you will gain essential design and technical skills, work on real-life projects with major manufacturing firms, and graduate with the interdisciplinary skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive and ever-changing consumer landscape. Montclair State’s BFA in Product Design is a focused, practical, studio-based degree program, taught in an atmosphere that is immersive and multi-disciplinary. The Product Design Major focuses on the design and development of consumer products of all types, fostering the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as a solid grounding in all aspects of the design process. The program is based in the Department of Art and Design.
