Successful graduates will earn New Jersey teaching certification in Dance P-12. Students must apply and be admitted to the Teacher Education program, which generally happens in the Spring of the sophomore year. In this program, you will combine a liberal arts degree with conservatory-based training. Expert faculty will guide you on your journey to becoming a professional dancer, choreographer, critic or dance teacher. The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Dance with a Studio Teaching concentration teaches students the financial and marketing aspects of running a dance studio in conjunction with their coursework in dance and education.
