As a Journalism student, you will develop competencies in writing, research and production techniques as well as gain knowledge from a solid foundation of liberal arts courses. The program’s dedicated high-definition facilities represent what is current in the industry and enhance learning in a digital environment. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism and Digital Media is designed to equip students with the skills to develop and deliver compelling, informative content for television, radio, the Internet and other forms of new media. Unless otherwise noted, 120 credits of coursework is required for the baccalaureate degree with a minimum 2.0 overall GPA, and a minimum 2.0 major GPA.
