Students learn how to plan, implement, evaluate and sustain public health efforts that enhance population health and eliminate health disparities from small programs that provide direct health education to groups of people in different communities to broad-based campaigns for better public policies and laws at the local, state, national and global level. Prepares public health professionals with strategic skills for the management and administration of hospitals and healthcare systems with a focus on prevention and in service of social justice and health equity.
